Privacy Notice
Last updated July 20, 2026. This notice describes the data Chefinnit processes and must be reviewed against the production data flows before launch.
Information we collect
We collect account and contact details, display names, profile content, order or inquiry details, messages, food preferences, and technical information necessary to operate and secure the marketplace. At signup and when a display name changes, the audit record includes the date and time, applicable policy versions, source, IP address, and browser user-agent. These security records are not shown on public profiles.
Consent and security records
Chefinnit keeps an append-only record of required Terms and Privacy acceptance. IP addresses and user-agent data support consent evidence, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, and account security. Production policy must define a proportionate retention period and restrict access to authorized administrators and service processes.
How we use and share data
We use information to provide accounts, connect customers and chefs, deliver notices, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Information needed to fulfill an inquiry is shared with the relevant chef or service provider. We do not sell personal information in exchange for money.
Your choices
You can request access, correction, deletion, or marketing opt-out using the contact information below. Where consent is the legal basis for optional analytics or marketing, you may withdraw it. Required transaction, safety, fraud, and consent records may be retained where law or legitimate security needs require it.
