Terms of Use
Last updated September 2, 2026. These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Chefinnit at chefinnit.com and related apps, APIs, and Chef Studio tools. By creating an account, browsing the marketplace, submitting an inquiry, or using Chef Studio, you agree to these Terms.
What Chefinnit is
Chefinnit is a live technology marketplace that helps people discover independent chefs, browse menus, cooking-now offerings, open pre-orders, tastings, catering, and private-chef services, and communicate about orders. Unless Chefinnit expressly says otherwise in writing, independent sellers—not Chefinnit—offer, prepare, price, fulfill, deliver, and resolve their food and services. Chefinnit does not buy, resell, prepare, or warehouse food, and does not collect or custody customer-to-seller meal payments.
Accounts
Customer accounts are free. You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, verify your email when required, and be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or the minimum age we permit with parental consent where required). You may not share accounts, impersonate others, or use the service for unlawful activity. Chefinnit may suspend or terminate access for fraud, abuse, safety risk, unpaid seller obligations, or policy violations.
Marketplace use
Public discovery may filter chefs by ZIP code and each chef’s published service area. Listings, photos, prices, availability, allergen notes, and service terms are provided by sellers. Chefinnit may curate homepage rails, moderate media, remove unsafe or misleading content, and change features as the product evolves. City pages, meal pages, preorder pages, cart, guest order tracking, messaging, and reviews are part of the live marketplace experience described in our product documentation.
Orders, invoices, and communications
Customers may request Cooking Now meals, open pre-orders, catering, private-chef service, or other offerings a seller enables. Chefs respond through Chef Studio, may send versioned invoices with payment instructions and agreement text, and may confirm fulfillment. Customers and chefs should keep records inside Chefinnit. Messages, leads, and order notes are for arranging lawful local-food services—not for collecting sensitive payment credentials or illegal activity.
Direct payment
Customer-to-seller payments for food and services are peer-to-peer outside Chefinnit (for example Zelle, Cash App, cash, or other lawful methods the seller lists on an invoice). Marking paid or confirming receipt in Chefinnit records a communication between users; it is not a bank settlement or payment guarantee by Chefinnit. Chef Studio and seller access
Chef Studio access is invitation-only during the current marketplace phase and is controlled by an administrator-managed membership period on each chef profile. Sellers must complete required verification and publishing steps, keep licenses and safety information current, and follow the Seller Agreement, Food Safety & Allergen Notice, and Community & Abuse Policy. No self-serve chef subscription purchase is offered at this time.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, upload malware, harvest personal data, post hate or harassment, create fake reviews, misrepresent allergens or licenses, or use Chefinnit to facilitate unlawful food sales. Report abuse from Messages or contact support@chefinnit.com.
Disclaimers and liability
The marketplace is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Chefinnit does not warrant uninterrupted availability, that every listing is accurate, or that any seller is licensed in every jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chefinnit is not liable for foodborne illness, allergen reactions, delivery problems, peer-to-peer payment disputes, or seller acts or omissions. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
Disputes
Before formal proceedings, give the other party and Chefinnit written notice and a reasonable chance to resolve the issue informally. Where enforceable and properly agreed, individual mediation may follow. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Chefinnit’s U.S. operations, without limiting mandatory local consumer protections.
Changes and contact
